Run Steps collects data related to your workout, such as your heart rate, power output, cadence, running pace and location. We also read your birthday, in order to set heart rate zones and deliver personalized feedback during workouts. You can withdraw your consent on iPhone. Note that Run Steps does not function without access to your workout data.

Do you track my location when I'm not using Run Steps?

No, we do not track your location when you're not excercising with Run Steps

Do I need an account in order to use Run Steps, besides my apple account?

No, if you have an iPhone and Apple Watch you're all set to use Run Steps

Where is my data stored?

All data that Run Steps collects is stored on your Apple Watch, iPhone and in your Apple Cloud.

What data is gathered?

Run Steps collects various workout related data points during runs. All data types that Run Steps collects can be reviewed on your iPhone via
Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Health -> Run Steps

Can I delete all data gathered by Run Steps?

Yes, remove the app on you iPhone and all data will be removed.
Your apple device may store additional information about your runs in the fitness app. To view stored workouts on iPhone that were created by Run Steps, open the Fitness app and go to the Workouts list.
